ATHLETE'S VILLAGE
KUORTANE OLYMPIC TRAINING CENTER
The Championships’ Event Center / Athletes’ Village is located at Kuortane Olympic Training Center in the beautiful, natural surroundings on the shore of Lake Kuortane. The Center offers high standard accommodation and catering services as well as meeting and sports facilities for all participants.
The Center is best known for its International Olympic Training Center with outstanding training facilities for athletic development. The Center offers numerous fitness and training services for athletes of all levels as well as for the everyday public who want to keep in shape. The main sports of the Center are ice hockey, volleyball, wrestling, bowling, athletics, apparatus gymnastics and archery.

Apart from the Olympic Training Center the Center also offers different study programs for sports-oriented students, for example: Physical Education (3 years), Further Qualification for Masseurs/Masseuses (9 months) and Further Qualification in Sports Facilities Maintenance (10 months).
The Resort prides itself on offering a number of different wellness, accommodation, conference and catering services in addition to the many free time activities and outstanding sport services.
Kuortane OTC has also been the main organizer of WUC Floorball 2008 in co-operation with City of Seinäjoki, WUC Wrestling 2012 and WUC Orienteering 2018.

- The distance between the Athletes Village and Ruuhikoskigolf is 36 km/30 minutes.
- All the official meetings, opening ceremony and closing banquet will be held at Event Center/Athletes’ Village.
- The Athletes’ Village will be open from Saturday 24th till Saturday 31st of August 2024.
- There is a free parking lot for all of you, who will arrive by your own cars.
