ACCOMMODATION BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
BOOKING
The local Organizing Committee will book your team (maximum of 6 player and 5 officials) accommodation automatically according to your registration information on your arrival and departure times within the official arrival and departure days. If you do not need accommodation, you plan to arrive earlier or depart later than the official dates are, please contact the Organizing Committee as soon as possible.
You must register your arrival and departure information as well as the number of players and official by the given official deadlines at the FISU Accreditation System, otherwise we cannot guarantee your accommodation.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
We do not guarantee accommodation before or after these dates.
If you want to arrive earlier or stay later, please send the OC a separate written request for this. Please also note that the prices are not the same for possible extra days as the FISU participation fee for the official championship dates.
OCCUPANCY / ROOMS GUEST POLICY
All participants will be accommodated mainly in double rooms in the Athletes’ Village at Kuortane Olympic Training Center (OTC).
Any extra officials will pay a participation fee of 150 EUR per person per night (subject to availability).
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIMES
Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability.
If available, early check-out (5 – 14 hours) incur an additional charge of 120,00 €/room and late check-out (1 – 5 hours) incur an additional charge of 72,00 €/room.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
50 % deposit of participation fees according to the quantitative entry information will be invoiced from participating countries on 27th of May 2024.
The open balance of the total participation fees must be paid to our bank account or at the Reception by the arrival date at the latest.

WITHDRAWAL/CANCELLATION OF PARTICIPATION
Withdrawal/cancellation conditions:
If you make a written cancellation of your participation
Exemptions to these conditions may be made against doctor’s certificate due to an injury.
Bank charges will be deducted from all the possible refunds.
SMOKING & PETS
All rooms are non-smoking and the whole Athlete's Village/Kuortane OTC is a non-smoking campus.
DAMAGES & LIABILITIES
Participants are responsible for any damages caused to the room or Kuortane OTC property during their stay. Kuortane OTC is not liable for any loss or theft of personal belongings.
NOISE & BEHAVIOUR
Participants are expected to respect the quiet enjoyment of other guests. Excessive noise or disruptive behavior may result in eviction without a refund.
SAFE & SECURITY
Participants should adhere to all safety and security guidelines Kuortane OTC provides.
Kuortane OTC has an accident insurance for all its’ guests (accidents that occur in its’ premises).

- transportation from Vaasa Airport or Seinäjoki train station to Kuortane and back as well as the transportation to and from the competition venue on official practice round and competition days,
- full board (breakfast, lunch & dinner (from buffet table) from the official arrival day (dinner) to the official departure day (breakfast),
- snack (water and fruits) during official practice and competition rounds
All the other costs and services are subject to charges.
WITHDRAWAL/CANCELLATION OF PARTICIPATION
Withdrawal/cancellation conditions:
If you make a written cancellation of your participation
- before 1st of July, there will be no charges and you will receive a refund of 100 % of the paid deposit,
- from 2nd of July to 6th of August 2024 you will be charged 50 % of the total costs of your reservation
- from 7th to 13th of August 2024 you will be charged 75 % of the total cost of your reservation,
- after 14th of August there will be no refund/you will be charged all the costs of your reservation.
